Student Involvement Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for a continuing student who has both benefited from and contributed to the LGBTRC. This merit scholarship provides financial assistance to students currently enrolled at UCI who identify as part of the lesbian gay bisexual and transgender community and participate in the activities of the UCI LGBT Resource Center.
Each scholarship is awarded on a yearly basis, and is presented/announced at the End of the Year Celebration hosted by the LGBT Resource Center in the second half of Spring Quarter.
Bruce Wade Scholarship
The Bruce Wade Scholarship provides financial assistance to UCI students who contribute to improving the campus environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students.
LGBTRC Leadership Scholarship
The LGBTRC Leadership Scholarship supports students in any majors who identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and are engaged in leadership roles promoting civil rights for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The Christien Rodriguez Memorial Fund

This fund benefits LGBTQ students who are in crisis. Sadly, and all too commonly, parents find out their child is LGBTQ+ and reject them, take away financial support, and leave them to fend for themselves. This fund is an emergency fund to help in these types of situations as a stop-gap while students work to set up financial aid to continue their education.
All proceeds will go to support students in good standing who are experiencing financial crisis as a direct result of their being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer identified and cut off from resources.
If you need support from the Christien Rodriguez fund, please contact us.
