Panels are often presented at the conclusions of workshops, which are offered with a number of additional services.
Educational workshops are designed and delivered by peer counselors, focusing on a range of LGBT/Ally issues, or on a specific topic that is usually requested. Through lecture, discussion, panel presentations or interactive exercises, workshops are able to open up dialogue within an audience, helping participants to examine and assess their previous knowledge of LGBT issues.
Workshops and panels are geared towards creating a greater understanding of the LGBT community, and are available for academic classes, residence halls, cultural clubs and other campus organizations.
If you are interested in arranging a presentation, please stop by the LGBT Resource Center or contact the LGBTRC Workshop Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or to request a workshop.
